Detail:

"Pages" is a very general term used in WWW jargon. A page refers to a site. Each page or site has its own URL (uniform resource locator), and thus, the term home page has some relevance when thought of in these terms. Pages could refer to multiple sites or all the pages belonging by a particular person or organization. WWW pages are connected via hypertext links to provide a user with limitless entertainment as s/he follows each link to another WWW site. Individuals often have their own page or pages on the Web, and these are referred to as personal pages. Many profit and nonprofit organizations are designing their own pages as well.
